Cloud 9 is a floating bar in Fiji is the middle of the ocean near the Malolo Barrier Reef, about 40-50 minutes away from the main island. A bar and Italian wood fired pizza make Cloud 9 a uniquely glorious way to chill out in the South Pacific.
Princess Juliana International Airport on the Dutch side of the Caribbean island of Sint Maarten, is remarkably close to a public beach. Photographer Josef Hoflehner and his son Jakob Hoflehner have taken these extraordinary photos for his book, Jet Airliner: The Complete Works.
“It’s is an extraordinary place,” Josef Hoflehner said via email. “There simply isn't anything like this airport anywhere on the planet. With all the heightened security we have today, one can not get that close to a plane anywhere else without buying a ticket.”

Expedition Iceland is a collection of some of my favorite shots I did around Iceland during my 17 day, 4000 mile adventure around the country during the midnight sun in June 2013. This personal piece was shot entirely using the Canon 5D Mark III and only a few different Canon lenses.
I've always wanted to visit Iceland, and I had to take the opportunity when it came up. Sleeping in the passenger seat of a small SUV and living off mostly gas station food, it was all worth it. The country was absolutely stunning and I certainly hope to spend more time there again.
Russia-based filmmaker Jacob Schwarz has filmed a gorgeous high definition video of the previously isolated country of Myanmar.
Even if you don't have a super hi-speed connection and a 4k monitor, the HD version is still absolutely stunning.
