Christmas Tree Made From Hundreds of Sleds in Budapest

Architecture and design studio Hello Wood collaborated with the Palace of Arts (MÜPA) in Budapest to create this towering Christmas Tree made of 365 wooden sleds. After Christmas, the it will be dismantled and the sleds will be donated to kids living in the SOS Children’s Village homes in Hungary.

The Palace of Arts Budapest is celebrating Christmas in a special way this year - Hello Wood built an 11 meter heigh installation, a Christmas tree built out of 365 sleighs, which will all be given to the children of the SOS Children's village. Happy Holidays everybody! video: deephoto.hu

"We used everything around [them] for inspiration," including their daughter's skateboard, or the "Alcatraz costumes you can buy from San Francisco's Pier 39." Soon, they had a "whole story wrapped around" their sleeping baby boy. 

Eftimie's boy is five days old in the stork picture and three months of age in the underwater wedding portrait.
