The Photographer of "VJ Day, The Kiss" liked to put himself in the picture. From Marilyn Monroe and Frank Lloyd Wright to Mia Farrow and J. Robert Oppenheimer, Alfred Eisenstaedt’s photographs have captured some of the most iconic images of our shared imagination. So it is a great deal of fun, and a bit of surprise, to see him put himself in the frame.
